DESCRIPTION
The 32G Transceiver is intended for 100m reach service 28.025Gb/s/14.025Gb/s/8.5Gb/s/4.25Gb/s 850nm Multi-mode high-speed communications equipment where low-cost, extraordinary performance and reliability are essential. It consumes low power, operates base on 3.3V DC power supply and is offered in the commercial temperature range. They are compliant with SFP+ MSA, SFF-8431 and SFF-8432. High speed electrical and optical specifications are compliant with ANSI Fibre Channel FC-PI-6. The 32G Transceiver is a multi-rate 850nm transceiver which ensures compliance with 32GFC,16GFC,8GFC and 4GFC specifications. Per the requirements of 32GFC, internal clock and data recovery circuits (CDRs) are present on both electrical input and electrical output of this transceiver for low jitter compliance. These CDRs will lock at 32GFC(28.05Gb/s) and 16GFC(14.025Gb/s) but must be bypassed for operation at 8GFC (8.5Gb/s) and 4GFC (4.25Gb/s) rate adaptation . Transmitter and receiver can operate at different data rates, as is often seen during Fibre Channel speed negotiation.
